  • 225,000 children are exploited for labor.
  • 4.7 million children suffer from omission of care.
  • 2.8 million children suffer from negligence.
  • 1.3 million children suffer from complete abandonment.
  • 43% of children are educationally at risk, attending school only on occasions.
  • 40% of Mexicans receive no health care.
  • 42% of Mexicans receive government health care, but it typically takes a month to be seen by a doctor and 3 months to receive a blood test.
  • Respiratory problems and diarrhea are the 3rd and 4th causes of death among children.
